We work towards your physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy goals using special education and conductive education techniques.
Our conductive education classes are run in groups so the individuals work with peers of similar age. This is based on research about the benefits of cultural and social learning to enhance overall motivation levels and cognitive development. Within the groups, we have one-on-one support for each participant.
We use conductive education to help improve and maintain one’s range of motion, balance and coordination, to help increase one’s communication and social skills, to help create a sense of belonging by building friendships, to help improve hand function and fine motor movement, and to teach essential skills for life.
“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”– Helen Keller
