At FACE our team is made up of dedicated professionals passionate about empowering children with neuromotor disabilities. With expertise, compassion, and a commitment to helping every child reach their potential, our staff work tirelessly to create meaningful progress, bring joy, and have fun along the way. Their ability to make each day engaging and uplifting is the heart of FACE, driving our mission to make a lasting impact in the community.
Samira Mostafa
Samira graduated in occupational therapy with a Bachelor Degree from Iran in 2004. Then she moved to Hungary to spend 2 years doing courses in Conductive Education at the PETO Institute, finishing in 2006.
She has 17 years of experience in rehabilitation and working with special needs children. She worked as a Conductor for many years back in Iran, and loves her job; working with children is a passion. She joined FACE to work as a Conductor to help children work towards having lives as happy and independent as possible. Her hobbies are spending time in nature, swimming, and cooking.
Denys Koroboko
Hello, I’m Denys.
I’ve been with FACE since fall 2023 and am incredibly proud to be part of this team. I hold a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Ukraine and Belgium.
I’m convinced that quality of life has a crucial role in human life, and here at FACE, we’re dedicated to enhancing various skills and meeting the needs of our participants.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about an active lifestyle, including running, boxing, and snowboarding.
Ronah Bais
Ronah graduated from SAIT with a diploma as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant and is excited to be part of a team supporting children with special needs. Although this is her first role in the field, she brings enthusiasm and a deep commitment to learning and growth.
She is inspired daily by the determination and joy of the participants, and finds fulfillment in helping them celebrate their achievements, no matter how small. Ronah believes that working with children teaches lessons beyond the classroom—shaping her both professionally and personally.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, cross-stitching, and exploring music across genres, especially 80s rock and indie. These hobbies help her stay balanced and creative in her approach to care.
June Millare
June is a dedicated Program Assistant with a diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy Assistance from CDI College. Before joining FACE, she worked for three years in a physiotherapy clinic, gaining valuable experience in movement and rehabilitation.
Her passion lies in helping children grow in confidence, communication, and independence. She believes that every small success is worth celebrating and strives to create a positive, supportive space for each participant.
Outside of work, June enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. She loves camping, hiking, road trips, and relaxing park days, as well as movie nights, sewing, and crafts at home.
Ancible Peter
Ancible Peter graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2007 and is presently pursuing her Post Graduate studies in Multidisciplinary Conductive Education Program. She has several years of experience as a physiotherapist in India and the Middle East.
Ancible moved to Canada in 2012 and has been with FACE since 2015. She meets many families, children, and adults that impact her heart, and she enjoys helping them reach their full potential in life. She also loves the daily chats and laughs with them. Outside of work, Ancible loves to try new cuisines, cook, and spend quality time with family.
Simona Sandru
Simona graduated from Ana Aslan College of Nursing in Romania and brings international experience from Austria and Germany, where she supported individuals with neurological conditions. She joined FACE after moving to Canada and has found deep fulfillment working with children with special needs.
She values the daily joy of seeing children grow and achieve new milestones. For Simona, every smile and small step forward is a shared victory, and she brings compassion and encouragement to every interaction.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, solving crosswords, and exploring new places through travel.
Taia Shchekochikhina
Taia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in Ukraine. Her journey has taken her through Belgium, France, and now Canada, where she’s gained hands-on experience supporting children in various therapeutic settings. Since joining FACE in 2024, she has embraced Conductive Education and the meaningful impact it can have.
Taia is passionate about encouraging growth and independence in children, believing that consistent support leads to lasting progress. She brings positivity, structure, and patience to her work, and finds great joy in watching participants achieve new milestones.
Outside of FACE, she enjoys baking, yoga, dancing, and spending time in nature. Her interest in psychology also supports her holistic approach to understanding and supporting those she works with.
Fuartun Garad
Fuartun is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special needs. Since joining FACE, she has embraced every opportunity to learn and grow, and values the impact of patience, encouragement, and support.
Every milestone—no matter how small—brings her fulfillment, and she focuses on creating an environment where children feel safe, understood, and confident in their progress.
Outside of work, Fuartun enjoys staying active through soccer and walks, and loves spending time with friends and shopping for fun and relaxation.
Persis Anna Saji
I am Persis Anna Saji, and I hold a B.Sc. in Zoology. I’m passionate about my work with FACE—it’s more than just a job; it’s a source of deep joy and purpose. Whether I’m engaging with children or connecting with adults, each day brings meaningful moments that make everything else fade away. Outside of work, I find happiness in cooking, exploring new places, and immersing myself in music. These joys, both big and small, enrich my life and keep me inspired.
Vincent Franco
Hello! My name is Vincent Franco, and I’ve had the pleasure of being part of the FACE community for nearly four years—a journey I’ve truly enjoyed every step of the way. I’m a proud graduate of Mount Royal University with aspirations of becoming a physiotherapist. The hands-on experience and personal growth I’ve gained through FACE have been invaluable, and I’m excited to carry these lessons forward into my future career and endeavors. Outside of work and studies, I’m an avid sports enthusiast with a passion for soccer and a love for the outdoors.
Leila Gilani
Leila is a dedicated and compassionate conductor with nearly 19 years of experience in Conductive Education and over a decade with FACE Alberta. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy in Iran, she continued her studies at the Peto Institute in Budapest, Hungary, where she specialized in Conductive Education.
Leila has worked extensively with children, young adults, and adults with neurological conditions, collaborating closely with parents, staff, and practitioners to promote independence and confidence. For her, the best moments are when a child smiles with pride at their progress, and the whole family shares in that joy.
Outside of FACE, Leila enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling. A loving mother and wife, she brings warmth, expertise, and inspiration to the FACE Alberta community.
